The Silent Terror…

The one we don’t talk about and goes on behind closed doors in the hidden space, but also visible so people can see it, but still don’t talk about or dare to stop it. Or perhaps not even want to know about? …

In more than 90% of the cases the one that abuse is someone close to the victim. Such as parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents, a teacher, a coach, (people who one should trust)… Very few have an unknown abuser.

This type of terror can’t be compared with flying bullets, or buildings and vehicles that get blown apart, or human bodies that are blown to pieces. It’s a different type of terror the silent one, the one that only the victim sees, feels and knows about. The one that happens to the most private and dearest one can have in life, and the most valuable one has got as a human being. Ones’ own body…

What about this terror, you might ask? It is silent because we can’t hear it, but we can see it in the scared child eyes, in fearful actions that children can get themselves to do because of the experience they sit with from the abuse. They are so frustrated that they can’t put words on what they have experienced, not do they get to talk about it and they can’t get an end to it. It can be every day, several times a day, once a week, once a month, once a year or even the one incident that gets the whole life of an innocent child to be torn apart. Nightmares, anxiety of new abuse, anxiety of who should someone trust when my nearest of kin are so mean?

50000 Children every year only in Norway… (Google your own country for statistics).

Do you want to be a part of and take the responsibility to reduce the HUGHE amount of CHILDREN that get exposed for this type of terror to become reduced to the best for humanity? To end it completely is a dream, but to reduce it is a goal! For the sake of the children ❤
